S.A.DA day dedicated for couples to be eating each other's tonsils, and for both young and old hopefuls to have their hopes dashed. It's sad. Then you have the one's that make everyone their "Valentine" and makes everyone else feel left out, and depressed. What a wonderful day of the year!!
People get excited and decide to do something cute and meaningful for their counterpart, and they get nothing. Or a box of chocolates and a nod.
There is a difference between "the thought that counts" and forgetting completely.
